Job Purpose

The purpose of the job is to compile statutory reports in accordance with financial policy and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities For the Role

Support the development & implementation of controls to ensure the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of regulatory reports to regulators.
Research new regulatory developments and reporting requirements and proactively assist businesses, operations, and technology to understand their impact.
Work with other stakeholders within the Bank to streamline and automate regulatory reporting processes to achieve operational efficiency.
Coordinate Bank activities aimed at ensuring technology readiness to meet the ever-changing data-related regulatory requirements.
Develop tools and dashboards to assist in monitoring daily compliance with regulatory and internal limits/ratios.
Work collaboratively to address any queries from internal audit/external audit or regulator related to returns or reports prepared.
Spearhead the Bank-wide data quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with teams for the preparation of analytical reports.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experiences Required For The Role

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT.
Data Analysis Skills.
SQL and Relational Database Management System (RDMS) understanding
Work experience of at least 3 years.

Job Summary

The Purpose of the job is to be responsible for analyzing data and assessing risk using statistical models. Design and price insurance policies and use advanced statistics and modelling to understand data.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Perform monthly variance analysis (MVA), to compare develop experience vs. plan targets.
Obtain, verify, analyze, and model data including risk reporting and forecasting.
Update trend projections periodically, to support pricing trend development and the corporate business plan.
Ensure work is accurate and efficient using existing procedures.
Perform key actuarial functions including new product pricing recommendations in coordination with other actuarial associates.
Manage reviews of Property and Casualty insurance pricing models.
Responsible for research and analysis of information to provide recommendations on calculation issues.
Complete projects on time and with high standards and accuracy.
Conduct contemporaneous reviews on general Insurance reserves and report key findings to senior management.
Independently create and submit regulatory rate, rule, and form filings.
Support the month-end close process and ensure the accuracy of booked reserves.
Plan and prioritize work in accordance with broader team or department objectives and priorities.
Responsible for coordinating the development and extensive analytical review of trends.
Participate as a representative of the department during relevant meetings.

Education Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required

Bachelor’s or Graduate’s Degree in actuarial science, statistics, computer science or mathematics.
A strong ability in mathematics
The capacity to analyse data and solve problems.
The ability to carry out statistical analysis, such as scanning and cleaning data and interpreting trends and relationships between data sets.
Good communication skills to be able to feedback on findings to non-actuarial colleagues or clients.
The ability to produce reports and summaries of data analyses that non-specialists can understand.

The Purpose of the Job is to be responsible for utilizing data to determine the risks in creating insurance policies. Analyzes statistical data and decide who can be covered through the company and who is not eligible. Assesses the risk of insuring a person or company according to the likelihood of a claim being made.

Key Responsibilities

Review insurance proposals and seek to improve terms.
Properly Assess and analyze the client’s background information.
Participate in continuing education courses to remain knowledgeable and competitive in the industry.
Use professional techniques and strategies to calculate the risk associated with client policies.
Review insurance claims and terms to determine the amount to be paid out by the company.
Designate and prepare insurance premiums based on informed judgment and competitor pricing.
Organize meetings with specialists to help determine risk assessment in unique circumstances.

Job Summary

The purpose of the job is to be responsible for increasing insurance sales and penetration to wholesale clients, by ensuring strong strategic business relationships with clients are established and maintained. This involves end-to-end relationships of the whole chain of insurance arrangements from quotation arrangement and claim servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist line manager with the preparation of business strategies and initiatives for winning business from corporate clients.
Assist in monitoring and reviewing the corporate business performance to ensure that the targets are met.
Responsible for the development of the strategy to generate new products and execute wholesale and Business banking segments.
Analyzing the insurance quotations and policy wordings from insurers to fit clients’ requirements.
Ensure customer satisfaction for the corporate business is achieved by providing accurate advice for selling in line with customers’ expectations.
Responsible for supporting Wholesale Relationship Managers in developing corporate propositions and gap analysis for corporate customers.
Maintain close relationships with stakeholders, insurance companies and other departments within the bank.
Ensure all the claims from corporate are timely handled and settled.
Supervise and assist the sales team from all branches in selling insurance to corporate clients.
Remain updated with all regulator’s new and existing guidelines.
Responsible for all the obligations of specified persons as described in the Bancassurance regulations with regard to business for corporate clients.
Liaise with the business development manager in closing corporate business.
Conducting product presentations and training for corporate clients.

Education Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required

Degree in the Insurance business, risk management, business administration or relative degree.
A master’s degree/Postgraduate in risk management and insurance business or business fields will be an added advantage.
Any professional certification course or training in the insurance business and/or sales is an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the insurance business with a reputable company.
