CV ya Kocha Mpya wa Yanga SC Miguel Gamondi 2023 CV of Miguel Ángel Gamondi, New Yanga Coach: Miguel Ángel Gamondi is a former Argentine footballer who has become a successful coach in various countries. He was born on December 23, 1955, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a player, he started his career with Club Atlético Huracán in 1976, where he played as a central defender. He then moved to Club Atlético Independiente, where he won the Copa Libertadores in 1984 and the Intercontinental Cup in the same year. After playing for several clubs in Argentina and Chile, he retired from playing in 1990.
Gamondi started his coaching career in 1992 as an assistant coach at Club Atlético Independiente. He then became the head coach of several teams such as Club Atlético Lanús, Club Deportivo Morón, Club Atlético Talleres, and Club Atlético Tucumán in Argentina. In 2006, he moved to Ecuador to coach LDU Quito and led them to win the Ecuadorian Serie A championship in 2007.
In 2008, Gamondi moved to Peru to coach Alianza Lima and led them to win the Peruvian Primera División championship in 2008 and 2009. He then coached several teams in Paraguay such as Club Libertad, Cerro Porteño, and Club Olimpia. In 2015, he coached Deportivo Capiatá and led them to reach the semifinals of the Copa Sudamericana.
In June 24 2023, Gamondi was appointed as the new head coach of Yanga Sports Club in Tanzania.
