NBC Premier League Winner To Get Tsh 600MillionsBingwa Ligi Kuu kuondoka na Sh600 milioni, kombe jipya latambulishwa The League Board has named Sh1.8 Billion as prizes and bonuses in the League this season with the champion being allocated Sh 100 million from NBC and Sh 500 Million from Azam. The Chief Executive Officer of the League Board, Almas Kassongo made the announcement today during the launch of the trophy that will be presented to this season’s champion.
He said the second winner would walk away with Sh50 million from NBC and Sh250 million from Azam. “Three will be awarded Sh30 million from the League sponsor, but also 225 from Azam,” he said. Of those prizes, NBC has set aside Sh20 million for a disciplined team prize. Regarding the cup, Kassongo said the appearance of the league cup will be the cup that was introduced today until it is decided otherwise.
“The champion will stay with it for a month and return it if he defends it three times then he will take it directly,” he said.

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), previously Football Association of Tanzania (FAT), is the governing body of football in Tanzania and oversees the Tanzania national football teams. It was founded in 1930 and is affiliated to FIFA since 1964.
The Federation was founded in 1930 as Tanganyika Football Association (TFA). It was later renamed as Football Association of Tanzania (FAT) in 1971 after major amendments in its Constitution.
FAT existed until 2004 when the new name TFF came into force after the body’s General Assembly held on 27th December of the same year.
The Current TFF Constitution came into force 15th January 2006 following the General Assembly held in Dar es Salaam on 14th and 15th January 2006.
Currently, Wallace Karia is the President of Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), succeeding to Jamal Malinzi in August 2017.
TFF regions and blocks are becoming more empowered under his leadership as he believes they are the drivers of development agenda.
