To become a recognizable teacher in Tanzania, one must first complete a diploma or undergraduate degree from a recognized university. Sifa za kujiunga na chuo cha ualimu ngazi ya Certificate
Applicant must be form four graduate who managed to get at least Four (4) passes excluding religious subjects in Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) Or applicants must be holder of the Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV) with at least two passes and having NVA level 2 certificates in the relevant field of study.
Sifa Za Kujiunga Na Vyuo Vya Ualimu Diploma
To be accepted into different diploma teaching course, applicant must be a form four graduate with at least four (4) passes from Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) in Non-religious subjects including two passes in Physics, chemistry, biology, Geography, Language, Kishahili and Mathematics.
Sifa za kujiunga na chuo cha ualimu ngazi ya Degree
To be accepted into Teaching degreee course at universities in Tanzania, an applicant need to be a form six graduate with two principal passes with a total of 4 point in two subjects Physics, Advanced Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography, Kiswahili, English, History or Economics defining the admission into the respective course (where A = 5; B = 4; C= 3; D = 2; E = 1; S = 0.5).
